A Dublin defence company allegedly targeted by Palestine Action Éire has again shipped parts to the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) largest weapons supplier.
Acra Control sent components to improve missile performance to Elbit Systems on 5 December – which follows a previous Ditch report of other shipments to the same Israeli company.
The Ditch reported last month that another Irish-based company, Analog Devices, is sending parts from its Limerick factory to Elbit Systems' land warfare division.
The Acra KAM-500 data acquisition system has a “track record as being a key component in successful testing of the missile platforms”, according to Curtiss-Wright, Acra Control’s parent company.
Earlier last week a courier collected these systems from Acra Control’s Clonskeagh office and delivered them to Dublin Airport.
A Lufthansa passenger flight took the missile performance parts from Dublin to Frankfurt last Friday, according to shipping records obtained by The Ditch.
Acra Control’s shipment arrived in Israel from Germany on Saturday afternoon on another Lufthansa flight and was later delivered to IMI Systems (Elbit Systems) in Ramat Hasharon – a facility that produces missiles and other weapons for the IDF.
Acra Control has been contacted for comment.
